Dylan is Climbing Mont Blanc for Kesho

Fifteen-year-old Dylan Berenson wants to be a mountain guide. What better way to raise money for KESHO UK than by climbing Mont Blanc! Dylan and his Dad, Oren, will be tackling the highest peak in the Alps during the last week of July 2013.

The Surrey based adventurers will take on the Gouter route, which includes crossing the Grand Couloir, a crevasse notorious for rock fall. Scaling the heights of Mont Blanc requires good acclimatisation and physical fitness, and Dylan and Oren will be climbing daily to adjust to the conditions before attempting the summit. Both are looking forward to the final ascent, a spectacular, snow-covered climb to the pinnacle at 4808 metres – a long way away from studying for GCSE’s!
